Peak Pop Playlist

First-year student Noah Bradford was a member of WNEC for his first semester at New England College and is back as a part of it for his second semester. His show “Peak Pop Playlist” has a nostalgic vibe, playing some of the most popular music from the late 2000s to the early 2010s.
“My show is mostly like, the songs that I was most fond of when I was younger, as well as a few others that were from that time that I didn’t know as well but I came to love. It’s like from the late 2000s to early 2010s, whatever it was that charted. Anything that was big back then,” Bradford said.
Bradford used to create content on YouTube, and he learned about himself that he actually likes live content like twitch. This became a factor in him having his show here, where he gets to use the radio station as a learning stage for if he becomes a performer or entertainer in the future.
Bradford also says that it would be nice to have a job at a radio station, preferably near his city, he relates it back to when he was younger and listened to the radio while with his father.
“When I was a kid, I used to listen to the country station around Boston a lot, so I always get fond memories of that, so to be a part of that would be cool,” he said. “I don’t do podcasting here, but I have guest starred on other podcasts at some point. That would be good to try out and figuring out podcasting and how to be interesting and interested in the conversation while doing that sort of thing.”
You can catch Bradford’s shows on Thursdays 6-7 pm and Fridays from 4-6 pm.
