Meet the host of Cross Culture

Parker Dube is a sophomore from Rochester, New Hampshire. He came to New England College studying Sport and Recreation Management and switched to a Communications and Business Administration double Major. 

“I saw a lot more opportunity double majoring in those two. I saw general interest in commentating sports, and I thought communications would be a great building block off that,” Dube said. 

Dube went on Cross Culture last year as a guest with Jason Mercado. From there he decided he liked it and was added to the show. 

“I tried it, and I liked it. I would say that I am very happy with my experience there so far,” Dube said 

The Cross Culture show runs every Thursday from 8pm to 10pm. They cover all types of sports, from college to professional and even talk about NEC sports. They also talk about pop culture and try to include some other fun topics into their show. 

Dube plans on taking this forward in life, being able to use this experience and showing some of his work to possible employers and would also be willing to have his own talk show later down the road.
