Colleen McElveen

Colleen McElveen is an Assistant Professor of Communications at New England College and serves as the Advisor for WNEC-FM. She has a background in broadcast journalism and is passionate about traditional and emerging communication technologies.

WNEC-FM is an integral part of the Communication Studies program, as it gives students a platform to gain experience on the air as a talk-show or podcast host, sports broadcaster, or as a DJ! The station is run by students of varying majors and there are opportunities to work in in broadcasting, production, technology, social media, promotions, and marketing.
